‘Ruf & Tuf’ – the maiden directorial venture of Mani Sinha, produced by Narendra N. Sinha under the banner of Norman Studio Works, has got released on March 24 all over. The film’s story-screenplay and dialogues have been penned by the director himself. The film revolves around a young couple who possesses different character traits. The young man, a suspended police officer, is somewhat coarse and brash in behaviour. On the other hand, the girl, a physician by profession, is simple and sweet natured. Though they are very different from each other, situations bring them closer, and in no time, love develops between them. However, this young couple is often saddled by problems and uncertainties. Audiences will find the love and romance in the movie quite different from the usual fare.
‘Ruf & Tuf’ also contains some heart-stopping action scenes, directed by Pradhan Deori. The various roles in the film are played by Gunjan Bhardwaj, Gargi Kristi, Pran Krishna Mahanta, Satyen Sarma, Biren Hazarika, Anurupa Deka Raja, Jharna Bishoya, Rajen Neog, Bangkim Rabha, Gunajit Boro, Doli Rani Devi, Debojit Majumdar and Rupam Chakraborty. The music is scored by Rideep Das. The film contains five songs of different flavor. The cinematography is done by Mumbai based popular cinematographer Aman Jha with the Red-Epic Camera in the locations of Sonapur, Khetri, Meghalaya, etc. The make-up is done by Nihar Ranjan Goswami. The film’s publicity designer is Kalyan Kumar Kalita.
