Love in Bangkok, an upcoming Assamese film produced by popular cine–journalist Anupam Hazarika completes post–production works and is expected to release soon. As producer Hazarika inform us, the movie will be released on January last or first half of February 2015. He expects that new generation will definitely like the film. The film is directed by choreographer Ashim Baishya, which is coincidently his second Assamese film after Chandu. The story of Love In Bangkok is written by hero Bikul Dutta, who incidentally a Jorhat Engineering College alumni. [Update: Love in Bangkok is Releasing on 10th July 2015]
The screenplay is written by Pranab Kumar Barua. It depicts how through hard work and determination, a youth, brought up in an orphanage, had amassed a huge fortune abroad. He goes through some kind of a metamorphosis upon discovering the truth about what matters most in life. He is inspired to help lead today’s society towards a better tomorrow. The film has got ingredients of love, romance, action, rivalry etc. The lead roles are played by Bikul Dutta,Nandita Bora and Sangeeta Gogoi. The other artistes of Love in Bangkok are Prankrishna Mahanta, Pallabi Barua, Jenobiya Konwar, Monalisha Baishya, Karabi Sarma, Suraj Saikia, Mainu Gogoi, Deva Kalita, Guna Saikia, Ujjal Bora, Saju, Manas and child artiste Raghavi Dutta (Rahi). Akashdeep stars as a guest artiste.
Thailand’s Bangkok and Pattaya are used as main locations for Love in Bangkok. Almost 40 percent of filming was done in Bangkok and Pattaya. The choreography too has been done by director Ashim Baishya himself. The camera work is done by KG Prabin. Music is composed by Ajay Phukan. The film is edited by Moni Rajkonwar at the Guwahati based Brahmaputra Studio. Make–up is by Bapon Kalita and Bidyut. Assistant directors are Pranab Kumar Barua and Raju Bhuyan.
