The music of upcoming Assamese film Ahetuk released today at an event held at Shraddhanjali Kanan Park amidst of huge crowd. The event was started with lead actor Gunjan’s stage enactment with the lyrics of the title track Pahi Meli which was recited as a poem by Poran Borkotoky and choreographed by Pankaj Ingti. The first look of Music CD was unveiled by actress Prastuti Parasar, Nishita Goswami, Rimpi Das, Kalpana Kalita, eminent music director Jitu-Tapan along with director Bani Das and producer Raj Kumar Jain. Later singer Pompi Gogoi thrilled the audience with the song Meghor Jolonga, to which the crowd responded warmly. On the same event, Sanjiv Narain inaugurated the movie website. The website contains karaoke tracks along with the lyrics for the people to download it and sing along.
Ahetuk directed by Bani Das and produced by Raj Kumar Jain will hit the theatres on the 2nd January. Ahetuk, at heart, is devoted to the youth of today which breaks the boundaries of aged traditions, on the grounds that it comes with a new treatment. A famous name in the Assamese film industry– Poran Borkotoky(Jojo), who along with the music direction and background score, has also treated the sound and effects design of Ahetuk.
