Three Assamese Films Make it to Indian Panorama 2014 for IFFI

Three movies from Assam, one in feature film category and two other in non-feature category have been selected for the Indian Panorama section of the 45th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held in Goa next month. ‘Othello (we too have our Othellos)‘ by Hemanta Kumar Das make it to in feature film category, while Critic Utpal Borpujari’s English-Nagamese documentary ‘Songs of the Blue Hills’ and Aneisha Sharma’s ‘A Dream Never Dies’ have been selected in the non-feature category.

A total of 26 features and 15 non-features have been selected for the Indian Panorama section of the 45th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The jury for feature films headed by renowned cinematographer-turned-film maker AK Bir selected the features out of a total of 181 eligible entries while the non-feature jury was headed by eminent filmmaker Mike Pandey.
