The much anticipated ‘Gaane Ki Aane’, starring Zubeen Garg, Parineeta Borthakur will finally hit the screens on October 14. The film produced by Gautam Chakravorty, Sunil Gogoi and Rajesh Jashpal under the banner of Raga Films, revolves around the real life of Zubeen Garg. The film depicts his life, journey and of course, the dark shades of being ‘popular’. His fans are eagerly waiting to watch their favorite artiste on screen. Rajesh Jashpal, who directed serials like ‘Kusum’, ‘Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Saat Vachan Saat Phere’, etc, has written and directed this film. Ibson Lal Barua has done the Assamese adaptation of it.
The beautiful and talented Parineeta Borthakur, who has made a mark with her roles in Assamese films like ‘Nayak’, ‘Barood’, ‘Baralar Sanchar’, ‘Jibon Bator Logori’, ‘Pole Pole Ure Mon’, and scores of serials including ‘Mamta’, ‘Chandan’, ‘Sonpori’, ‘CID’, ‘Special Squad’, ‘Ahot’, ‘Karamchand’, etc, and Hindi films like ‘Force’, ‘Chalo Dilli’, ‘Saas Bahu Aur Sensex’, ‘Kurban’ among others, plays the leading lady.
The film also stars the much talented Rimpi Das, who has been roped in to play the lead character of Noor Jahan in ‘Akbar Birbal’, Big Magic’s popular show. She has also bagged a show titled ‘Siya Ke Ram’ to be shown on Star Plus channel.
The film also stars Nipon Goswami, Hiranya Deka, Rina Bora, Himagni Gogoi etc. The music direction is by Zubeen Garg. Singers Zublee, Parineeta, Mahalaxmi, Anindita Paul have rendered their voices to the tunes of Zubeen Garg. Cinematography is by Pradip Daimari and make-up is by Subhash. Publicity design is by Dreamz features. Achinta Sankar and Manas Sagra are the chief assistant director and assistant director respectively.
