‘Little Hearts’ from Assam Wins Best Children’s Film at Woodpecker Fest

‘Little Hearts’, a 14-minute short film has been adjudged as the Best Children’s Film at the prestigious Woodpecker International Film Festival, held at the Siri Fort auditorium, New Delhi, from September 16 to 18. The film has been written and directed by young director Manas Sagra, hailing from Rajapathar Tiniali of Karbi Anglong district.

The film centres around two little boys and their childhood activities - portrayed by Himangshu Sarma and Suraj Borah, supported by two other child artistes Madhurjya Morom Bora and Priya Goipa, along with Guneshwar Bordoloi and Mamoni Vaidya. Altogether 93 films were screened at the festival.
