Kingshuk Moran : Bollywood Revels in the Dexterity of another Assamese Sound Engineer

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, the much awaited biographical period drama film based on the life of the Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi was released on last Friday. Interestingly, Assamese boy, Kinshuk Moran has worked as the co sound designer of this movie.


Hailing from Naharkatia, Assam, Kingshuk completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sivasagar. Although, he hasn't taken any formal training in terms of sound designing, he started his career assisting established people of the Hindi film industry. 


His first film as a sound editor was Tanu Weds Manu Returns. He worked as an associate Sound Designer in movies like Dangal and Bajirao Mastani and as a Sound Editor in latest hit Uri: The Surgical Strike and as a co sound designer in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. He also worked in Assamese Film called "Dur", which was directed by Kangkan Rajkhowa.
